The Wind Market helps you plan trips around wind. It does not tell you whether conditions are safe to ride. That call is yours, and it depends on local knowledge, your skill level, your gear, and conditions on the day.
Forecasts can be wrong. Wind direction matters as much as wind speed — onshore, offshore, side-shore, and gusty conditions behave very differently. Always check with a local school, ride with someone who knows the spot, and respect launch and right-of-way rules.
Wear a leash, helmet, and impact vest where appropriate. Know your self-rescue. Carry a phone or signaling device on long downwinders. If you're new to a sport or a spot, take a lesson before going out alone.
We are not responsible for injuries, lost gear, or trip outcomes. Ride within your limits.
